Small Works Engineer (Installation and Small Commissioning/Programming)

Are you a high calibre Installation Engineer with a wide range of Fire Alarm knowledge??

The main responsibilities within this role will be to carry out Installation, Programming and Commissioning at our customers sites across the Midlands.  This will entail working, predominantly, with fire alarm systems, but a working knowledge and prior practical experience on security/CCTV Door Access systems would be beneficial.

Good knowledge of a wide range of systems would be advantageous, however Midland Fire are committed to the ongoing training and development of all our staff. As a Company we have a dedicated training Manager and nominated Mentors in place.

You will be expected to complete all works in accordance with BS5839:1-2017, as well as attending fault calls and carrying out small remedial works. We operate an out of hours call out service for contracted customers which all engineering staff cover. This is currently a 1 in 10 rota to cover call outs.

You will be required to work on a wide variety of fire alarm panels.

 

A full clean driving licence is required.

Areas of work will generally be East and West midlands which include Birmingham / Coventry / Burton / Nottingham / Derby / Leicester.
