As an Employer it is your legal obligation to ensure that the fire alarm system and fire detection system are in good working order. This means it’s essential to have a fire alarm maintenance schedule in place. Fire alarm and fire detection systems must be serviced by a competent person every six months for compliance with legal requirements. Midland Fire are BAFE accredited and our maintenance services meet the requirements of BS5839.
